Steven Seinberg: The Third book on light and shade
In his newest body of work, The Third Book on Light and Shade, American painter Steven Seinberg advances an almost three-decade long exploration of the forces of nature and their cellular connection to our psychic equilibrium. What was once tranquil and undisturbed in earlier iterations, has now become marred with an investigation into the essential qualities and forms – the birth – of light and shade.
Frank hyder: poet of a threatened eden | a retrospective
Poet of a Threatened Eden is a comprehensive survey of works by American multi-disciplinary artist, Frank Hyder. Hyder is best known for his use of cinematic devices to create a mysterious, metaphysical reality of intense light and shade, where forms appear and dissolve, moving the viewer to dream with eyes open - to feel without touching, and to feel touched by the very experience of seeing.

Jimmy o’neal: paradisio
We live in a time where life is lived in multiple and simultaneous dimensions. Consciousness is constantly traveling back and forth between the real and the virtual. As a result, our sensory appetite has become insatiable and no singular experience feels complete or gratifying for more than a millisecond. The work in this show demonstrates a possible solution to this manufactured ennui.
Ilidio candja candja: tatuagens ancestrals
These painted collages by Ilidio Candja Candja are a compelling combination of cultural reflection and personal symbology. From abstracted backgrounds arise restless figures that belong to the artist’s own constructed mythology. Impulsive and aggressive brushstrokes that reference action painting come together to create blurred ghosts, demonic entities, arachnids, and skeletons.
Fernando gaspar: separated land | Argatha
Separated Land: Agartha, the latest of a series of exhibitions shown in both Atlanta and Lisbon by Fernando Gaspar. In this third iteration of the Separated Land series, Agartha, the legendary civilization said to exist at the Earth’s core, becomes the analogy for the austere manner in which we contain our innermost anxieties, strife and turbulence.
